Beginning in a few years, a resident or visitor in Herndon will have mass transit access to Dulles International Airport as well as Tysons Corner and the District of Columbia. As the Mayor and Town Council prepare for metrorail service to Herndon, they want their decisions to reflect the community's needs and dreams for having access to mass transit.

How can development in the metrorail station area help bolster the quality of life, sense of community, engagement of citizens, economic prosperity of other commercial areas, and other features that comprise the fabric of the town?
