Alternatives Analysis
The purpose of the Alternatives Analysis Chapter is to describe the range of on- and off-airport alternatives considered to meet the Purpose and Need, as well as the screening process used to identify which of those alternatives are reasonable and feasible and will be considered for further analysis. More detailed analysis of the environmental impacts of the proposed alternatives will be included in subsequent chapters of the DEIS.

Purpose and Need
The T.F. Green Airport Purpose and Need Abstract summarizes the purpose of and need for the proposed improvements at T.F. Green Airport. The abstract contains the current statement of purpose.

This Purpose and Need Statement has been prepared as part of the DEIS for the proposed Airport Improvement Program at T.F. Green. The report presents the purpose of the proposed T.F. Green Airport Improvement Program and an overview of the Airport. Chapter 2 presents data and technical discussions in support of the need for the proposed improvements. Chapter 3 provides a detailed explanation of the project purpose and benefits. Chapter 4 presents a statement of purpose. This Purpose and Need Statement will evolve into a chapter in the DEIS. Note: Documents have been prepared for double-sided printing.
