Community Gathering - April 29, 2009
The CPAC will hold its next Community Gathering, the last one schedule to take place before the draft plan is completed, as follows:
DATE: Wednesday, April 29, 2009
TIME: 7:15 p.m
PLACE: Town Hall Auditorium
As with the March 18th Community Gathering, this event will focus on the topics included in Phase 2: Community Design & Land Use, Historic & Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, and Recreation & Open Space. While the previous event focused on identifying issues and concerns, at the April 29th event, we will present the draft vision, goals and implementation recommendations regarding these four topics.
Over the next several weeks, CPAC members and VHB staff will be preparing draft proposals and reports of the previous community events (held in February and March) which will be posted on this website. These materials will be useful in preparing for the April 29th Community Gathering.
Update:
The CPAC has completed drafts of the first four chapters which are posted on this website. Members and VHB, Inc. have begun working on Phase 2 of the Plan which includes: Community Design & Land Use; Natural Resources and Recreation & Open Space; and Historical and Cultural Resources. Community Meetings are being planned for March and April to address these three topics.
Please stay tuned to this website for the dates of these events. With the plan scheduled to be completed by June 30th, 2009, the work over the next 4 months will be intense and active.
