Historical bridges may bring to mind imagery of wooden covered bridges over babbling brooks with sparkling autumn leaves. But not in the case of five vintage steel thru-trust railroad bridges built in Vermont around the in the early 20th Century. As part of the Rail Division bridge improvement program, VHB led efforts to bring these structures up to date to be able to provide safe and efficient delivery of trains.
