VHB Atlanta is proud to have been selected as the 2019 Employer of the Year by the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Atlanta chapter. This award recognizes a business or organization for outstanding support of WTS and excellence in the recruiting, retention, and advancement of women in transportation. The award was presented in October at WTS Atlanta's annual scholarship luncheon, an event attended by over 400 highway design, transit, and planning professionals from Georgia's transportation industry.
VHB is dedicated to the professional advancement of women in the industry and is a proud supporter of WTS and its mission. We continue to provide support through sponsorship, encouraging our professionals to pursue leadership roles, committee involvement, and event attendance. We are proud that over 50% of all design professionals on our Atlanta team are women! Several VHBers have been involved with WTS Atlanta for over 15 years, including serving as board members and committee chairs.
