VHB is excited to welcome the newest member of the Tampa/Gulf Coast team, Alexandra DeYoung, PE. Alex will be serving as a Project Manager in the Gulf Coast’s growing Land Development practice, focusing on site development, stormwater and utility engineering projects. She will play a key role in enhancing our capabilities to provide innovative design solutions for our Land Development clients throughout the Gulf Coast.

Her recent experience working for the Southwest Florida Water Management District will help our team and our clients, she can utilize her stormwater expertise to guide designs and her permitting knowledge to expedite projects” said VHB’s John Eveland, PE, Land Development Services Leader for the Gulf Coast.
She is a graduate of Florida State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Design. She is a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Florida. In her spare time, Alex is an avid reader and gardener. She volunteers to help the local middle school math competition, MathCounts, in St. Petersburg.
