VHB is excited to announce the newest member of our Bedford team, Ben Martin, PE. Bringing an extensive and diverse background in transportation engineering, Ben joins us as the Director of Transportation.
Ben has a proven track record as a technical leader and has successfully led many notable projects from concept through completion across Northern New England, including F.E. Everett Turnpike, Spaulding Turnpike, and I-93 in New Hampshire.

Ben’s role will be to oversee and grow the Transportation Systems, Transportation Engineering, and Structures teams in Bedford, further enriching our collaborative culture and approach to mobility solutions.
Ben is a New Hampshire native. He graduated from Clarkson University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a professional engineer in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, and New York, as well as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Recently, Ben was named in the Union Leader’s 2018 “Top 40 under 40” list.
