Frank Mundy, PLS, has joined VHB as Mid-Atlantic Geomatics Director. Frank will oversee strategic direction and program management for technology enabled geomatics services across the region that spans from the Carolinas through Maryland. He will lead a team of survey, reality capture and geomatics professionals to provide smart, future ready, spatial related solutions benefiting clients across market sectors.
Frank brings nearly 30 years of experience maintaining successful project delivery while fostering cross-collaboration and communication between services. Most recently, Frank served as the Executive Vice President of Growth and Strategy for an ENR Top 500 firm, where he oversaw operations and firm growth in North and South Carolina. His experience spans markets, including institutions, state and local governments, and transportation.

Frank has been recognized for his leadership and technical excellence, with awards that include the North Carolina Society of Surveyors’ Surveyor of the Year and being named in the Triangle Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina Infrastructure Works Institute, the North Carolina Geodetic Survey Advisory Board, and the North Carolina A&T State University Geomatics Program Advisory Board. Frank serves his community with active roles on the boards of the Columbia Urban League, and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
