On Monday, March 11th, VHB was honored at the 2024 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) and received Esri’s Implementation award for the Large-Scale ArcGIS Implementation for a Customer Using Multiple ArcGIS Products category. This recognition came after an ambitious goal was set by VHB to integrate GIS as an Enterprise Information System throughout our internal operations.

To be considered for the Implementation award, VHB showcased our successful use of multiple ArcGIS products across diverse projects and domains. Some of the examples of our successful developments include our Mobile Data Collection (MDC) Platform, GIS Portal, Geomatics Explorer, Sustainability Application, ERP Hub, and the Geomark Marketing Application. These implementations not only increased efficiency, but also brought significant enhancements to our business operations, decision-making processes, and the range of services we offer to our clients.

“Today, more than half of our 2,000 employees use Esri technologies to perform our work. With the advancement of how we collect field data through our MDC Platform and how we visualize data—both public and VHB-collected data—in our GIS Portal, we intend to have this available to all VHB team members,” said Dave Mullholland, VHB’s Chief Technology Officer.
