Dina Ferraiuolo, PE, has been named to the Professional Women in Construction’s prestigious 40 Under 40 Outstanding Women in Construction list after strong recommendations by a coalition of VHB New York peers and senior leaders. The award recognizes 40 women in the AEC industry under the age of 40 who make impactful contributions to their teams, their firms, and the industry through exceptional work.
Since joining VHB’s New York office in 2017, Dina’s experience in leading civil engineering services projects through management, understanding of city agencies, and technical prowess has influenced how VHB approaches the design and permitting of complex real estate, institutional, transportation, and infrastructure projects in New York City. Her recent work includes leading VHB’s team as the deputy project manager for the Arverne East Development and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey PATH Extension to Newark Liberty International Airportꟷboth groundbreaking projects in VHB’s Northeast region.
Describing herself as a “social engineer,” Dina recognizes the importance of building relationships through project work and professional organizations. Dina is currently a member of WTS International Greater New York Chapter, American Society of Civil Engineers, and American Society of Highway Engineers, where she has been both a mentor and a protégé to leaders in the industry.
“I grew up in New York and having the opportunity to contribute to and better communities through infrastructure is what inspires me,” Dina said. “My passion to build resilient communities for future generations, regardless of socioeconomic status, is what drives me. Being recognized alongside the brilliant women that PWC honors this year inspires how I work with my team and my clients to deliver that opportunity to those communities. Thank you, PWC.”
Dina will be recognized amongst the other 40 Under 40 honorees at PWC’s 40th Anniversary virtual event on December 10th.
