VHB worked with the Silverman Group to complete a mixed-use development on a portion of the site of the former Hartford Insurance Company headquarters in Simsbury, Connecticut. The Ridge at Talcott Mountain accommodates 280-residential units, a 120-bed assisted living facility, and room for approximately 11,600 square feet of retail and office space.
As part of the project, VHB conducted environmental studies and provided site, utility, drainage, and landscape design. VHB also provided local and state permitting, including permitting with the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection and the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
