The Corden is a new multi-family development in the Foxhurst neighborhood of New York City’s Bronx borough that provides 62 safe and affordable housing units for families made homeless by domestic violence. VHB partnered with the developer to transform the previously contaminated site into safe, affordable housing. Our team investigated and mitigated environmental contaminants during construction and worked closely with New Destiny to navigate the necessary regulatory requirements specific to local, state, and federal environmental review processes.
