Seven VHB Atlanta team members were recently recognized by Engineering Georgia as outstanding and inspiring female leaders in the industry. The awardees were selected by American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Georgia steering committee members.

The March/April 2024 issue of the publication recognized 100 Influential Women in Georgia Engineering award as trailblazers who have relentlessly pursued excellence, diversity, and leadership in engineering. Four VHBers were recognized:

  • Regan Hammond, AICP, Transportation Systems Director
  • Jill Hodges, PE, CPESC, Chief Design Engineer
  • Erin Murphy, Environmental Services Director
  • Audra Rojek, AICP, Transportation Planning Manager

In addition, the annual 35 Under 35 Women to Know list spotlighted three VHBers who are recognized by their peers for their dedication, innovation, and leadership:

  • Allison Bell, AICP, Transportation Planner
  • Janine Payne, PE, Transportation Engineer
  • Erika Sutton, EIT, Transportation Design

“Women have traditionally been underrepresented in STEM fields, so it’s especially gratifying to see multiple VHB Atlanta team members make this important industry list,” said Fabricio Ponce, Atlanta Managing Director. “They inspire everyone in our office, from emerging to seasoned professionals, with their dedication to environmental services and transportation solutions that contribute to the Atlanta region’s robust communities.”
