VHB welcomes Chris Wilson, PE, Assoc DBIA, ENV SP, as I-64 Operations Manager where he will leverage his three decades of experience to streamline day-to-day processes, support financial performance, and advance strategic planning as VHB continues to grow in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Chris joins VHB after recently serving as the Southeast Virginia Leader for an engineering and construction firm where he was responsible for business development, operations, and project delivery. One of his career highlights includes serving as the Project Manager for Hampton Roads Sanitation District’s (HRSD) Regional Wet Weather Management Program, coordinating 13 cities and counties along with HRSD, Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to develop a $1.8 billion plan preparation.
At VHB, Chris will manage office operations across VHB’s Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg locations, partner with leadership to develop and implement office growth strategy and business plans, and make sure initiatives align with VHB’s mission and vision.

I’m confident he will be a strong addition to VHB’s I-64 practice and I’m excited to see him apply his knowledge to shape the future of our region.”
Chris has more than 30 years of experience in the civil engineering industry and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. He brings deep regional knowledge of Virginia’s Hampton Roads area, working with every locality in the region, and served for ten years on the City of Chesapeake’s Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Board.
