VHB’s New York City office is proud to champion people, purpose, and impact. Employees actively engage in a variety of Employee Resource Groups and programs that offer support, mentorship, and opportunities to connect. “Our team is proud to be among the inaugural honorees recognized by City & State New York,” said Nancy Doon, Managing Director of VHB New York City. “This award reflects the culture we’ve built together—one where people are supported, ideas are valued, and our work creates lasting impact for New York communities.”

The office also champions service and sustainability. The Green Team integrates environmentally conscious practices into daily operations and leads initiatives that make a tangible impact. Recent efforts include volunteer park cleanups in Queens and Manhattan, donating repurposed deskside waste bins to schools citywide through NYC’s Materials for the Arts program, and hosting an
in-office Trash Talk Happy Hour to educate staff on proper recycling and waste sorting. These programs foster environmental stewardship, strengthen community ties, and cultivate a sense of shared purpose among employees.
