VHB is introducing new Metro DC leadership to guide the region’s next phase of growth and client service. Doug Davies, PLA, ASLA, has been named Managing Director, and Meghan Powell, PE, has been appointed Operations Manager, bringing complementary strategic and operational leadership to the region.
Doug brings extensive experience in urban design, transit-oriented development and multimodal planning. Every day Doug helps clients navigate complex challenges. In his new role, Doug will lead VHB’s Metro DC team, setting strategic direction, strengthening culture, and supporting integrated solutions that advance clients’ long‑term goals.
As a nationally recognized transit leader, Meghan has led multidisciplinary teams on large complex projects. She brings strong operational and people leadership experience. In her new role, Meghan will use these skills to align people, processes, and resources across Metro DC to support strategic priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients.
