VHB is proud to congratulate Tim Foster, Senior Transportation Engineer, and Michelle Cavucci, Director of Transportation Systems for Metro DC, on receiving two of the Virginia Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (VASITE) most respected honors.
Tim was named a recipient of the Honorary Member Award, a prestigious, lifetime designation given by VASITE. Reserved for a select few distinguished transportation professionals, this recognition reflects exceptional, long-term commitment to the industry and the organization. Tim’s recognition places him among an elite group whose careers have made a lasting impact on transportation across Virginia.
Michelle was recognized with the VASITE Distinguished Service Award, which celebrates her ongoing and impactful contributions to the organization and transportation engineering profession.
Michelle’s dedication to VASITE and the broader transportation community spans more than 30 years, reflecting a career defined by leadership, technical excellence, and mentorship. Her influence has helped shape transportation practices across Virginia, while also inspiring colleagues and peers through her collaborative approach and commitment to advancing the profession.
