Director of Signal Engineering Michael Lowder is featured in a recent CT Insider article highlighting VHB’s work to modernize the public announcement and visual information systems at 28 stations along the Metro-North Railroad. VHB is partnering with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) to design the upgrades, which will provide clearer announcements, more detailed arrival and departure boards, and new standardized signs to direct riders towards platforms, ticketing, and exists.
