VHB Spring 2025 LEADS Program Cultivates Leadership Development

Celebrating the Spring 2025 LEADS Alumni.

May 19, 2025

VHB thrives by growing our leaders and cultivating talent throughout the organization. Our Spring 2025 LEADS workshop, recently held in Ashland, Massachusetts, exemplifies this commitment. Fourteen VHBers came together for the two-day workshop, marking the 24th session of this impactful leadership development program.

Transformative Learning Environment

The LEADS program is founded on the belief that effective leadership starts with a deep understanding of one's impact as a leader. The program connects VHB's business vision with each participant's leadership path, while creating meaningful bonds between colleagues from across our organization. These connections strengthen our teams and reinforce VHB's status as an employer of choice.

“I found the connections with my peers and relationship building to be invaluable,” said Ambar Rivera, HR Director, Southeast Region.

Over two days, participants engaged in a variety of activities designed to enhance their leadership skills, including evaluating 360-degree feedback, participating in coaching sessions, practicing communication styles, and interacting with VHB senior leaders.

Learning from VHB’s Leadership Team

What sets the LEADS program apart is the opportunity for participants to hear directly from VHB's leadership team. President and CEO Mike Carragher, Chief Strategic Growth Officer Tom Jackmin, Chief Operations Officer Bill Ashworth, and Chief People Officer Keri Kocur shared their experiences and career paths within VHB.

"By the end of the session, I felt a renewed sense of confidence and a stronger bond with my peers, knowing that we are all navigating our leadership paths together,” said Brian Perry, Managing Director, New Jersey.
