Our East Hartford Logistics & Technology Park at Rentschler Field project won in the category of Best in Class: Industrial. Connecticut Director of Land Development Paul Vitaliano attended the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the project team.

“We’re proud to have contributed to this project, which is anticipated to generate jobs and growth for East Hartford,” said Paul. “These high-quality facilities will spur economic development in the Town for years to come.”

VHB partnered with National Development to transform the former Rentschler Field airport site into two build-to-suit distribution facilities totaling more than 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space for e-commerce company Wayfair and home improvement retailer Lowe’s. The project will enhance the region’s infrastructure and position Hartford as a key player in the logistics and distribution sector.
