VHB partnered with Safe Harbor Marinas to transform Safe Harbor Cove Haven into a vibrant, amenity-rich marina for racing yachts and recreational boats. The reimagined marina features a pool house, pool, splash pad, arbor, open lawn, grilling spaces, and improved waterfront access—all designed to elevate the member experience.
VHB worked closely with the client to understand long-term needs and guide the redevelopment from concept through construction. The team led the landside survey and geotechnical investigation, designed a new bulkhead that raised the site grade by approximately five feet, and developed new waterfront infrastructure including an access pier, ADA-compliant gangway, and safety railings. VHB also designed a stormwater detention system to support site resilience and managed local, state, and federal permitting processes. The result is a high-functioning marina with modern amenities, expanded usability, and long-term coastal durability.
