VHB’s Wethersfield office is home to more than 90 team members who work closely with Connecticut communities to prioritize investments in sustainable, resilient infrastructure. Safety and Traffic Operations

We partner with state and local agencies across Connecticut to conduct road safety audits, establish guidelines for safer transportation planning, and enhance traffic control signals. We are committed to supporting our municipal clients in their efforts to reduce crashes, fatalities, and serious injuries; in total, we have led or supported nine Connecticut regional safety plans.

Environmental

We deliver comprehensive environmental services to Connecticut communities, improving neighborhoods' health and well-being, contributing to economic vitality, and promoting environmental stewardship. Collectively, the VHB team has been involved in over 50 Connecticut brownfield redevelopment projects that were either funded via Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) or Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grants.

Grant Funding
