Emblem 125

Providence, RI

On Parcel 28 of the Providence Innovation & Design District, Exeter Property Group embarked on a development project known as Emblem 125. This mixed-use development features 248 residential units and approximately 22,700 square feet of ground-level retail space. As a key partner in this project, VHB leveraged our integrated service offerings and in-depth knowledge of state and city regulatory requirements to provide site/civil design, permitting support, and environmental compliance services.

VHB played a crucial role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape, keeping the project on schedule, and successfully securing approvals from several key regulatory bodies, including the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management for stormwater and soils remediation, the Narragansett Bay Commission for sewer service, the Department of Public Works for traffic control during construction, the Providence Water Supply Board, and the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council.
