Dan Gleason, VHB Transportation Engineer, earned the exclusive Bentley Premier Scholar Certification—one of only 207 recipients worldwide. Bentley Systems (Bentley) is a global infrastructure engineering software company that provides model-based design (MBD) applications to help engineering professionals recalibrate their practices for the digital delivery of infrastructure projects. Dan joins Kyle Rosenmeyer, Model-Based Design Lead, as the second VHBer to earn the advanced certification that significantly enhances projects through technology-enabled visualization and delivery.
Bentley’s Premier Scholar accreditation program offers users of their software the opportunity to gain a better understanding of program functionality while honing critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Dan’s extensive knowledge also provides VHB employees with an in-house resource and leader to help problem solve, troubleshoot, answer questions, and further elevate the use of MBD across the firm.
As one of VHB’s largest advanced training programs, VHB created a MBD Coaches Program to train and align staff with new technologies and modern infrastructure project requirements. This program recently received the Bentley Systems’ Founders' Honor award. The award was given in recognition of its distinction as one of 15 inspiring projects, individuals, and/or organizations which exemplify Bentley’s mission of “advancing the world’s infrastructure while sustaining both the global economy and environment.”
