VHB named Jenny Fleming, PE, as the new Managing Director for the Raleigh office. In this role, Jenny will oversee strategic and operational performance, support team development, and drive growth aligned with VHB’s mission and values.
Throughout her 30‑year career, Jenny has held a range of leadership roles, including Regional Water Resources Director and Raleigh Operations Lead at VHB, where she has played a key role in both strategic planning and day‑to‑day operations. She has helped lead complex, high‑visibility initiatives such as the Cape Fear Regional Watershed Plan and the multiphase Complete 540 project—experience that reflects her ability to guide teams through complex challenges while delivering meaningful outcomes for clients across the Triangle Region and statewide.

Beyond VHB, Jenny is an active industry leader. She is past president of the Women in Transportation (WTS) North Carolina Triangle Chapter, a recipient of the 2023 WTS Circle of Excellence Award, and the winner of the Triangle Business Journal’s Women in Business Award for Entrepreneurship. She is also a graduate of Leadership Raleigh, and former board member of NC Go! She currently serves as a Board Member and Secretary/Treasurer for the American Council of Engineering Companies North Carolina (ACEC/NC) chapter.
