VHB welcomes industry leader John Fish, ASLA, APA, as Director of Landscape Architecture. John will lead a new landscape architecture and urban design team in the Atlanta office. This significant expansion of services will enhance our integrated teams of transportation planning and design, environmental resources, and land development employees who are helping clients elevate the places where metro Atlanta’s residents and visitors live, work, and play.
As Vice President, Planning & Landscape Architecture at a previous architecture and engineering firm, John and his team delivered multidisciplinary projects to institutional, state, and local clients across the southeast, including mixed-use town centers, university campuses, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscape designs. John and his team have contributed to signature projects across the region and beyond, including Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Roswell, Tucker, Gwinnett County, The Cumberland Community Improvement District, Georgia Tech, Alabama Department of Transportation, and Auburn University.

John’s team joining VHB Atlanta comes on the heels of a 2024 new market expansion in real estate led by Dan Wintermeyer, Director of Land Development, and institutional market growth with the addition of Jay Jenkins as Real Estate & Institutions Market Leader.
John holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Richmond. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and American Planning Association.
