To support continued growth, VHB is strengthening its leadership team with the appointments of Tom Jackmin as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Mike McArdle as Chief Strategic Officer (CSO). These leadership advancements elevate the firm’s ability to scale, drive long-term success, and meet the evolving needs of clients and communities while advancing a more sustainable future.
Tom brings extensive operational experience to his role as COO, having previously led the continuous success of VHB’s New England Region, the firm’s largest, and most recently serving as Chief Strategic Growth Officer, where he helped guide the exploration of industry trends and disruptors. In this capacity, he helped position VHB to expand its offerings and enhance its differentiating services. A visionary leader, Tom will oversee VHB’s regional and office operations, working closely with Regional Managers to support sustainable growth across the firm.
Mike steps into VHB’s newly established CSO role, reflecting both the natural progression of his work and the firm’s continued focus on strategic growth and long-term direction. As CSO, Mike will lead high-level strategic planning and growth initiatives that position VHB for future success, including shaping companywide priorities and partnerships.
A strategic leader who previously served as VHB’s Chief Development Officer, Mike has played a critical role in shaping the firm’s direction by identifying opportunities, aligning teams, and responding to industry and economic trends. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding VHB’s geographic reach and strengthening its market presence across the East Coast.
“Tom and Mike are exceptional leaders who have earned the trust and respect of colleagues across the firm and industry,” said Bill Ashworth, President. “They are strong ambassadors for VHB and deeply committed to our culture, our strategy, and our long-term vision. I look forward to continuing to work closely with them as we build on our momentum and guide VHB through its next chapter of growth and success.”
