Bridges® by EPOCH at Sudbury is a memory care assisted living community which was integrated into the larger Meadow Walk mixed-use development in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Designed to provide a comfortable, secure home for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, the community offers residents personalized enrichment opportunities to support their unique challenges. This facility is connected to the surrounding neighborhood, which includes luxury apartments, a Whole Foods Market, restaurants, and community amenities.
VHB led the site design, permitting, and transportation planning to successfully incorporate Bridges® by EPOCH into Meadow Walk’s village-style setting. Our team created a site plan that includes a public park, pond, and walking trails that take advantage of the site’s natural features, while supporting wellness and connectivity. We developed a comprehensive transportation plan that included the design of pedestrian and roadway enhancements and bicycle paths, to help create safe, convenient multimodal access for families, staff, and the broader community—strengthening connectivity across the entire development.
