Education First was to build a $125 million, mixed-use, ten-story building for 400 new employees on state-owned, developable land. This required not only Special Legislation for the land sale but also permission to do MEPA and Chapter 91 simultaneously. What they needed was an orchestrated approach to secure permit approvals. Our team moved quickly and secured the proper permits from the City of Cambridge, Department of Conservation and Recreation, Massachusetts Office of Environmental Affairs, and MassDOT. As a result, we saved months of permitting time and it freed our client to focus on other priorities—such as preparing new employees for a bright, successful future with Education First.
