Tampa, Florida

BayCare is a leading healthcare system in the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida areas. As a trusted advisor, VHB’s engineers, planners, and designers are supporting BayCare to implement a $1 billion capital program. With hundreds of access points, including 15 hospitals, BayCare delivers the full continuum of care through an integrated health care delivery system. At St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, VHB’s efforts spanned a 72-bed tower addition and emergency department expansion, a new 90-bed acute-care hospital, and a separate medical office building, collectively developed as part of BayCare’s new suburban hospital master planned campus for up to 350 beds.
