Roosevelt Field Mall

Garden City, NY

Roosevelt Field Mall is a prominent shopping destination in Long Island, spanning more than 2 million square feet. With a mix of high-end retailers and luxury brands, including Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, the mall has continually adapted to economic trends and shifting consumer preferences. For more than 13 years, VHB has collaborated with Simon Property Group to reposition this center into a vibrant mixed-use hub.

VHB’s integrated services team developed a plan to accommodate new tenants such as Seasons 52 and Neiman Marcus as a part of the 150,000-square-foot luxury mall expansion. The team also studied and designed utility infrastructure improvements needed to support the mall’s ongoing development,  including the creation of a new dining district to replace the former food court. Building on the successful opening of the mall’s first hotel, the Marriott Residence Inn in partnership with OTO Development, VHB has obtained approvals for the construction of a second hotel.

VHB continues to support the development of out-parcels, with zoning secured for a future phase consisting of a 90,000-square-foot medical office building. These investments are designed to make certain the mall remains a dynamic, community-oriented destination.
