Takeda | 300 Massachusetts Avenue

Cambridge, MA

300 Massachusetts Avenue was designed to accommodate Takeda’s expansion plans and its intensive research program. With a long-standing relationship with Forest City, our history at University Park, and our experience with the City of Cambridge development process, VHB was able to hit the ground running to assist with the rezoning of this parcel, which made this development feasible. Our transportation analysis alleviated concerns that additional parking would be required for the expansion. We then developed a creative approach that allowed our team to run multiple tasks concurrently, which enabled the client to meet critical deadlines and advance the development to the permitting phase. 300 Massachusetts Avenue has revived an underused section of Massachusetts Avenue and enriched the innovation district with new research space.
