The former site of Taystee Bakery was redeveloped into an 11-story life sciences building with VHB providing remedial action oversight and regulatory compliance. VHB also conducted a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and a comprehensive subsurface investigation of the site soil, groundwater, and soil vapor in accordance with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Environmental Remediation (OER) E-Designation requirements, and prepared and implemented an approved Remedial Action Plan. This site is on track to achieve a Track One Cleanup and a New York City Green Property Certification.
