VHB Welcomes Dan Faust as Strategic Advisor within Transportation Business

VHB welcomes Daniel (Dan) Faust, PE, as a Strategic Advisor within its Transportation Business. Dan brings more than three decades of public and private sector experience in the engineering and architecture industry, most recently serving as AECOM’s Regional Chief Executive in the Eastern U.S.

“Dan’s results-oriented approach, hands-on experience, and focus on consensus building have resulted in a successful track record of growing businesses along the East Coast,” said Steve McElligott, VHB Transportation Agencies Market Leader. “His dedication to improving mobility and enhancing connectivity will play a vital role in providing sustainable infrastructure solutions to our transportation clients.”

In his role as Strategic Advisor, Dan will partner with VHB’s regional and market sector leadership to increase capabilities for expanded delivery of complex transportation projects. VHB President and CEO Mike Carragher said, “I look forward to Dan assisting me and our leadership team as we continue to advance VHB’s prominence and strategies. His public and private sector experience and insights brings added perspective as we navigate the dynamic forces of our rapidly changing industry.”

Throughout his career, Dan has helped deliver several signature design-build bridge projects (Frederick Douglas Memorial Bridge, Arlington Memorial Bridge, Harry Nice Bridge); the high-profile Leonard P. Zakim Cable Stayed Bridge in Boston; and the design-build execution of elevated viaduct portions of the JFK Airport Light Rail Transit system in New York. He is a University of Delaware graduate and was named a Top 500 Leader by Virginia Business Magazine for four consecutive years (2019 – 2022).

“I’m excited to work with old friends and new colleagues at VHB,” said Dan. “I have long admired the company’s collaborative culture and the passion VHBers bring to their clients and communities. I look forward to working with Steve and the team on the continued growth of VHB’s transportation business.”
