VHB is pleased to announce that Stephen Faber, PLA, has joined the Raleigh, North Carolina, office as Design and Planning Practice Builder. With more than 17 years of industry experience in landscape architecture and real estate development, Stephen will guide the strategic growth of VHB’s Design and Planning practice across the Triangle region while helping clients navigate complex planning, design, and development challenges.

Stephen’s experience spans mixed-use districts, public parks, campus planning, and community master plans, with notable regional work including Raleigh Iron Works, the North Hills Innovation District, Durham Beltline Master Plan, Wilmington’s North Waterfront Park, and greenway planning projects in Fayetteville. With a Master of Real Estate Development from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from University of Arkansas, Stephen brings a strong multidisciplinary perspective and interdisciplinary approach to his work. His involvement with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) further strengthen his focus on sustainable, resilient design and his ability to guide complex, high-visibility projects.
